Business Development Specialist - Internal
Highlife is undergoing rapid growth and currently searching for
new sales talent to join our horticultural division inside sales force.
-
In this role, you will drive sales at the dealer level and
provide coordinated team selling activity with regional and territory field
sales personnel.

Focused outbound telesales of Highlife Products to an
established but growing dealer base of Gardening dealers.
-
Must be able to
initiate and close sales.
-
Support assigned outside sales representatives in the
growth and overall management of assigned territory.

Meet and exceed monthly
revenue goals and product quotas as established.
-
Assess individual dealer needs
and suggest how Highlife products can meet their requirements.

Successfully educate dealer base on Highlife's range of product brands history, image and mission.

Attain expertise in the features and benefits of Highlife products and
successfully communicate the unique qualities of the products and services we
offer.

Maintain outbound call schedule, handle customer inquiries, manage pre-book orders, backorders, RA's and processing customer sales orders.

Utilize
sales metrics, market research reports as required for brand and territory
development.

Successful candidates are goal-oriented, outgoing, motivated,
persuasive and able to multi-task and possess a desire to learn.
Must have
ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. A pleasant
personality, with a strong customer service orientation, professional phone
manner and great communication skills along with the ability to prioritize tasks
is essential. A minimum of 1-2 years experience is required. Internal sales and
product training will be provided. Computer proficiency (MS Office: Word, Excel,
PowerPoint) and strong interpersonal skills required. Experience within
horticulture and/or hydroponics industry is preferred but not required.
Bachelors degree is desirable.
Some travel required.
Position will be based at Highlife head office in Hamilton Hill,
WA.
